Matelots hail from the small islands around Leonera. They are those men and women who do not fancy a lifetime of eating mussels and gathering kelp while nothing much happens, so they swap their idyllic life for the high excitement of being a pirate. Tiradoras on the other hand provide some cheapish long-range firepower for pirate crews.
Tiradoras and Matelots are Pirate deckhands. Matelots fight a similar style as Pirates, with pistol and cutlass, but are stronger and less resilient. Tiradoras offer long ranged firepower for a small price.
